This year we don't have a kid in Nursery! James is a Sunbeam this year and Addy a CTR5. James never really adjusted to nursery, he really didn't care for it, so needless to say we were a little worried about primary, now it has only been two weeks but so far so good, knock on wood. We spent the week before prepping them both for the change (addy always needs prep for change to make it smoother and James needs much training and guidance to make change more pleasant) So we had many talks and then the night before we had a special family home evening, My Mom and I made the kids new scripture bags, and Doug and I got Jim's Book of Mormon done with his picture and pictures of the stories added in for him to know what is going on. We put writing pads and their own special pencils in their bags and got them boogie boards for their bags, We also got them CTR rings for the first day. They were both very excited, and I am so relieved to say there were no tears except from me, It was harder then I thought not taking him to nursery. We were told there was a possibility that James was running around the podium during sharing time? but it has yet to be confirmed, He told us when he got home his favorite part was singing time, not a surprise and Addy said he sang so well she could hear him in the back, such a good big sister watching out for him. This last Sunday they held each others hands and headed to primary not even caring if Mom and Dad were near by, she helped him get to his class seat and then went to hers, it was so Dang adorable, how cute they are....
The Sunbeam teachers are our old Bishop and his wife, they may have their work cut out for them with 5 Wylie boys and 3 girls, but our James is just loving going to Primary. He was disappointed the primary didn't sing in sacrament, he was really looking forward to singing on stage, what a hoot.

Seriously Sweet
Everyone keeps asking how Number three is treating us, and I keep thinking well we should have named her Joy, because as cliche as this may sound she is, just a true Joy! She brings so much peace and happiness to our family, she is so loved and so loving, the only time she gets upset out of routine or not for good reason like she is hungry or tired is when others are yelling or speaking in unkind tones, she doesn't care for that at all, the pictures are an assortment from the last 11 weeks, hard to believe she is eleven weeks old today! CRAZY to me any ways. Above she is still in her newborn size clothes, below 0-3 and likely by the weeks end we will move her up to 3-6. She does her jobs so well, she has been sleeping through the night since 5 weeks and really just keep with routine. She is starting to be awake more and loves to laugh and know what is going on. She loves her bath and she LOVES her dad.
She was about 6 weeks in these next pictures, She is in the sweater Doug's Grandma made for her, and just so sweet, she wasn't loving having her pictures done, but we got a few keepers.
Her first Christmas.
The kids love to give her props for whatever game they are playing, I am not sure what game it was that needed sunglasses but I couldn't pass up the adorable shot, She often has a sword, legos (the duplo kind) or something of the like near her, on her or placed in her grasp so she can play with the big kids, she loves to sit in her bouncer in the toy room and watch the fun.
Yeah I don't actually know why she is so upset in the picture below, it was our first day at 8:30 church and she had already gone through two dresses before we got to church, may have just been a long day, but I find her adorable even when she is upset.
They say you are given what you can handle, and that those who have tough kids can handle it, well we must be at our max for what we can handle because we got a gem, at least at this phase, she is such a good baby, it almost gives me a false sense of security thinking I can handle three kiddos with ease..... LOL

Surprise Party
I am so almost caught up from last year, although I am really probably not doing it justice, This is the post from Doug's Surprise party! Doug has only had 3 maybe 4 birthday parties in his life, which is kind of sad for a Boy who loves to party and be around others. Anyways it has been like 7 years since the last party I threw for him, I really wasn't planning on throwing a party this year and technically I didn't, but the kids, they are so darn cute, they just knew Dad needed to have a surprise party, they brought it up several weeks before his birthday to be honest I thought they would let it go, one of these days I will learn my kids don't let things go, they get ideas and they stick like glue until I crush them or embrace them whichever happens to be for the day. So they came up with the guest list, the menu, the decorations, even where to have it and mast shocking they kept it a SECRET from Doug! I did help carry out their plans, and Grandma helped me a ton, I having just had a baby. I pulled the info from them over a week time span and asked in hypothetical's so they gave me their answers and then I acted. Addy was so funny, she really wanted the party to be at the skating rink, but it wasn't open on the night we were planning to have the party, so I gave other idea's as to where we could have the party she told me and I quote " When I am throwing a party, or the party is for me then I can pick where to have it otherwise I should keep my ideas to myself" SERIOUSLY I about wet myself. The kids worked really hard on the party and the gift they got for Doug they even wrapped it themselves and were so excited for his birthday. Luckily my Mom is AWESOME and helped me pull it all off, again it was nice to leave the mess for someone else to clean up, The party was at a local Pizza Hut, and the picture below doesn't really look like many of Doug's friends, but each of those kiddos all of which we just adore, have parents that we adore equally as much. We are so thankful to have such GREAT friends that are so fun to do things with.
James was literally licking the cake, he is such a funny guy, We are so thankful for Doug and how much Joy he brings to our lives. He is so hard working and caring and such a good Dad. I don't think the kids would have worked nearly as hard to put his birthday together if they didn't just love him so much. They wanted his day to be perfect and perfect it was.

Pirates and Princesses Party!
The big kids decided they wanted to have a pirate and a pirate princess party for their friend birthday party this year, we are still working on how to master the two birthdays so close to each other and to Christmas. So this year we tried to do a friend party and a family party. The kids have a lot of mutual friends and sibling friends so we did the pirate/ princess party family style and invited whole families to join us for the fun, being so close to Christmas I didn't think that many families would be able to make it so I let the kids choose a fair amount of friends to invite for fear most wouldn't be able to and I didn't want it to be just us, although it would have been fine if it was, well we were rather surprised that all but one of the families we invited made time to come, it was so fun! We had a blast the kids both felt so loved and had so much fun, and their friends had fun too, even the older friends like 9 and 10 were enjoying themselves which was a huge relief to me.
We rented space at a local kids klubhouse that has indoor entertainment slides, scooters, running, basketball, climbing, so fun! Since it was a pirate/ pirate princess party, I took a treasure chest and filled it with the appropriate attire for our guests to make their own costumes to fit the kind of pirate, Pirate princess or Princess they fancied themselves to be. It was a hit, so much so that the other party that was happening at the same time their kids wanted to join the fun and plunder our treasure chest as well. Jim's cake was a Jake and the never land pirate cake and Addy's was a princessy cake, although she was a pirate princess. The funny thing about the cake, apparently Doug and I don't know how to order cake, I usually just make them but was going for simple this year, we ended up with oodles due to us not being very clear when we ordered it, but I always prefer to have more then enough then not. We did have over 50 people there, so I was thankful to have enough for all.
We kept things simple and decorated the table with some decorations I had left over from our princess party last year and our pirate party over the summer, it was nice to do it somewhere besides our home so we had oodles of room to run, play, scream and shout and someone else cleaned up the mess.
Doug trying out the toys, normally Doug is the one to do all the playing with the kids, but he felt bad the other dad's were all kind of hanging out over by the babies, so he spent most of the night with Audryn and I got to play which is why there are not many pictures I was too busy having fun!
I can't believe the kids are another year older, Lately I have just been dreading the passing of every day, I hate that they are aging and that they are growing up so dang fast, I just want to enjoy every second with them and treasure every moment, which could be why I am so tired but it is well worth it, at least the effort I don't know that I am actually achieving it to the fullest potential but some days are better then others.... How we love our Pirates, princess or not. They are both so much fun!

Holiday Randoms from 2013
This was Audryn's first time meeting Santa and the first time Jim sat on his lap without crying, one never knows how kids will react to life size characters.... I am happy to say this year went quite well. Santa arrived at Doug's work and brought all kinds of toys for the kids to pick from and treats to boot! We invited all our coop families to join the fun, and Fun is was.
James and Addy loving playing "work" it cracks me up especially when you hear the player options "you can be Mark (the owner of the company) Doug (the General Manger and their Dad) Ben (One of Doug's Assistants) or one of the people that work (everyone who is working when we go to see Doug and don't stop to play sword fights and chase and find the cat or whatever game happens to be up that day) with out the final explanation it sounds dang hilarious like Mark, Ben and Doug don't work.....
Three of my favorite Boys, James and his two buddies Levi and Grant they are three pea's in a pod, I had the boys over the other day and James was so anxious for them to come he kept telling me he couldn't wait because they know how to play cars better then any girl he knows, apparently Addy and I do not make the right car noises, but we are pretty good at playing planes he informed me, Oh this kid, always good for a laugh.
