A week after we got home from Colorado we had tickets to go and see Beauty and the Beast the Broadway version this time rather then a local production they came to town for just one night which is amazing to me since the set up had to take them hours and hours, it was so good we loved it. We had gotten tickets for my parents for Christmas but my Dad had to be out of town for work, the trouble with gifting such items, one never knows someone Else's schedule or how it may change, but it worked out great for Addy. Grandma decided to take her as her date since grandpa was gone she really enjoyed the show, I felt a bid bad for Jimmy who did not get to go, but he had a fabulous play date and got to stay out much later then normal so I am sure it is all good, next time I will do it differently though so they can both go.
Then Mr Bill Cosby was in town, Doug's kind boss(not that he had an unkind boss, we are just quite spoiled by his boss) gifted us tickets to the event, so Doug surprised me with a sitter and a night out we went with his assistant and wife and then headed to a place we had been wanting to try for dinner. I think we were expecting too much, Doug and I both loved Cosby in his earlier days, don't get me wrong he is still 100 times funnier then the average individual, but we surprising liked the last comic we saw better then Cosby we did have a great time though, his assistant bought our dinner according to him he owed Doug for some work Doug had done for him, Ridiculous if you ask me, but it ended up we had a great night out and only had to pay for the sitter, whom I might add is one of our FAVORITE sitters there are two sisters we use and the kids ADORE them as do we they are SUCH NICE girls very good role models too the kids ask nearly every day if Doug and I will be going on a date because they want their friends to come and play. On the theater subject we are still regularly watching Mary Poppins a clip from the Broadway show that Doug found online, Jimmy who is now asking to be called James is getting REALLY good at his dance moves, it amazes me he practices all the time, he will be tapping in no time should I give him the right shoes. He is just a hoot even after we have given in and let him get his Poppins fix, he will request I sing it for bedtime too. Addy prefers we do dance parties even though she loves Poppins dance parties take more time at night which means bedtime is delayed, smart cookie that one. Oh how we love the theater we will miss it while it is on break for the summer, although the kids are already asking when we are going camping on to the next adventure....
