Nick's Wedding

 We got up VERY early and caught the first flight out of Florida back to Colorado, with time to spare so we could make it to my Cousin Nick's wedding. We landed, my Mom picked us up we went to lunch with my family the kids took naps, went swimming and then headed to the wedding, the weather held until the end of the ceremony so they did not get rained on, but oy it was close. It was lovely Lindsey and Nick looked so happy, they have been planning the big day for quite some time and they had remembered everything. Nothing was overlooked.

 It was all at one location, so they were married and then we moved inside for a dinner and dancing which was so much fun.

 Nick was even thoughtful enough to have sparkling cider served to those of us that do not drink.
I must say it has been awhile since I have been to a wedding not in the temple, but it was very nice, one of the best I have been to. We particularly liked the dancing.

 My Brother and His lovely wife. The kids loved getting to see their cousins and play with them, that is always one of their favorite things.

 We stayed and danced until almost the end, actually I told Doug five more minutes and five minutes later I was sick and it was time to go. But we loved dancing, James is Hilarious he was upset because the boy in the white pants you can see had some moves he could not do, they were having a dance off almost the entire night. Just Cute

 I come from a long line of baby people, so when there are family gatherings it is likely the baby get passed around a lot, she doesn't seem to mind, here with my Aunt Shirley and Below with my Uncle Dale.

It was so fun to be at the wedding and see Nick take the next step in his life, His bride was beautiful and we are so glad she has joined the family. We had a great day with family and then we had to head home, My parents ended up taking the big kids in their car, I was pretty sick so we were not sure if we would make it home that day or not, but about 1ish I  felt like we could make a dash for it, we put dryn in the car and did not stop unless we had to, we ended up beating my parents home.... It was such a wonderful way to start our summer,minus being sick but it was mid june by the time we got home... Quite the summer kickoff

Florida Part 3....

 I stressed and stressed and stressed about buying our plane tickets for Florida, I had to buy the kids and I separate from my mom and Doug since they were flying different dates, but in the end it all worked out, Doug flew out to Florida and My Mom hopped right on the plane he had just got off of and flew home. They even passed a little care package between each other making the the transition very smooth, we were sad to see grandma go, but excited to see our Dad, we had missed him so very much. He got in on sat, we got moved into our new resort kind of there was another check in fiasco, which landed us in a resort instead of the house I had rented but just for the night and there was room for all of us, it just wasn't right, which really bothered me, but we had family pictures done on sat, and got to bed, then Sunday we headed to church came back and moved to the house, which was very nice, it was so big one had no idea they were sharing it with 11 people. Doug's Brother and his family joined us in Florida on Saturday too. It was so fun to have them there, really to be there with them, we were crashing their party. They do a family vacation when their kids graduate and they invited us to join along so we did. Sunday was a quiet day we played at the pool at the house, and then Mon we hit the ground running with our Disney fun, Which is always so fun, but very exhausting in early June, very hot and the day we started was the beginning of peak season so lots and lots of people. We had so much fun though and got to do and see a lot of our favorites and try some new things it was great. Doug and I are really just big kids at heart we love it all just as much as the kids.

 This was dryn's first trip to Disney World, she did AWESOME! way better then I remember Jim doing and she was only two months older then he was for his first trip. She would squeal with joy when she would get to go on a ride, and was just so happy. Here we are on the tea cups

 Addy and a Favorite, Mary Poppins. We made it to Magic Kingdom, three times, Epcot, Animal  Kingdom and MGM we however missed our Water park day this year, Doug who NEVER gets sick, got violently ill, bad enough I woke his brother to come and help, My husband who in our 12 years of marriage had puked maybe 3 times if that, had been puking for hours non-stop, yeah he lost 8 lbs on vacation. The hard way. So we took a day off for him to recover and get better, the kids and I played in the pool and played games it was actually a much needed down day which I always pack into our schedule but hadn't this time. We were a little worried the kids or I would have it so we stayed close, and Addy did get a touch of it, but nothing like what Doug had and I didn't get it until after my cousins wedding

 The kids and their treats, they had been working for a little over 6 months to earn Minnie moneys to spend while we were there, I don't like always saying no, it is much easier to say do you have your money, and is there enough. Addy was super sweet she had earned quite a bit more then Jim and she bought him some Jammies, she also bought audryn a gift, she is so kind hearted.

 Can you tell we missed our Dad? Audryn loves to sleep snuggled up in Doug's armpit, I cannot imagine that ever, smells good, but she doesn't mind, it is one of her favorite places to be, funny girl

 Yep that is james not dryn, he was trying out her walker, since he doesn't exceed the weight limit on a lot of baby toys we more often then not see him checking them out, the house we rented had all kinds of baby gear for us to use while there, so nice.

 Cards with the cousins, James and Alex were room buddies and James just couldn't get enough of Alex, often they would ride rides together go on walks and sit together at the shows, they were even sharing food, We love that James looks up to and Loves Alex he is a great example to our kids, and so very kind. We were worried he would get tired of them, but he assured us he was good.

 The day we went to Animal kingdom it had been raining so a lot of people cleared out of the park and went else where is was perfect we didn't have to wait for much there and that is Doug's favorite park so it was nice we could get a lot in, in a short time so before he wore out.

 Our travel companions and Mickey. Addy got to be Aubrey's room mate and she too thought it to be the perfect arrangement. Those girls are so adorable together and have so much in common even though they are years apart, they have many of the same interests, they sleep the same way, and they both need their space when they need their space so they bunked nicely.

 And the highlight of the trip for Addy meeting Anna and Elsa, she thought that was pretty darn cool, although James was upset Olaf was no where to be found. These are the only two characters James pulled the shy silly card on and wouldn't not talk to them or even have his picture done with them. So silly..(imagine my eyes rolling)

And Camp minnie and mickey.... We didn't do any of the character meals like we normally do, we canceled the one we had due to Doug being sick and we were rained out of our pirate cruise, maybe next time.... Ahh NEXT TIME????
