There He Goes...

So I don't normally post videos, and for good reason our home videos are not that great and don't really reflect the events as well as just being there, but you get the idea. A couple weeks ago I took James on a date, we went to old Chicago, it has tv's all around and every tv Large tv is playing a different sport or news of a sport, James searched the tv's and studied each of them finally deciding to watch dirt biking. We watched as we ate and talked it was lovely, I am not sure that what came from it is what I was hoping for, but, James is thrilled. He is obsessed with dirt bikes now, OBSESSED! I told him that maybe after he learned to ride a bike with two wheels we could talk to dad about a dirt bike, but first things first he needed to master a two wheeler without training wheels, We just pulled the bikes out for spring so they could ride them a day or two before our date.  Literally two days later we took this video of him on his bike the next day he mastered turning and now he is quite good he goes everywhere on his bike and rarely  if ever crashes, We have been to the parks in both directions from our house, The dirt alley and tried a empty paved parking lot giving him as many different textures to ride and practice on as possible. He came to me a few days after learning to ride his bike without training wheels and recalled an offer I had made him about the piano, He has been begging me to get piano lessons, Since he can read, I told him if he sat at the piano and played on it just tinkering every day for 14 days without missing a day and without me asking him to that I would get him lessons, Yes he will be starting Piano. So his thought was this Mom if I ride my bike everyday for 14 days can I get a dirt bike and have lessons? My sarcastic self thought, HUH Well 4 year old with 3 months I am really going to have to talk to Dad and could you please remember you are 4 lets go play in the mud not on a bike but with your hands???? He is insistent on growing up so stinking fast! I kindly reminded him that I needed to talk to dad about the dirt bike situation.  He later came to me and said and I quote "well Mom consider a dirt bike with training wheels when you are talking to Dad about a dirt bike for me, Do they make those?" Oh my word I excused myself and laughed so hard, Yes honey they do have dirt bikes with training wheels I think they are called four wheelers, LOL
